She likes to tell people she’s not from India—she’s from Bollywood, where every problem can be solved with a song and three costume changes. She lives life in technicolor, unapologetically large and loud, and writing is how she makes sense of it all. A proud introvert, she’s happiest tucked into a corner with noise-canceling headphones on, writing. For years, her dog was her only audience—until a friend shoved her onto a Moth stage, and everything changed.
In under two years, Saloni won multiple Moth StorySLAMs, was featured on The Moth Radio Hour and The Story Collider podcast, performed a one-hour solo show, and recently made her national debut at the prestigious National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
